I just got my Moderna 3-11 (Covid) 23-24 Sdv vaccine and I'm curious about what to expect in the coming days. The nurse told me that side effects are common but usually mild. I've heard horror stories from friends, but is it really that bad? What are the common side effects, and how long do they last? Any tips for managing them? Also, I'm a bit worried about the more serious side effects. What should I be on the lookout for, and when should I seek medical help? Thanks!

I got vaccinated and had a fever for a day. Took some ibuprofen and drank plenty of water. Felt much better the next day. Don't worry too much about the side effects - your body is doing what it's supposed to do.

I've heard some people get heart problems from the vaccine, especially younger guys. I'm not sure how common it is, but if you feel chest pain or shortness of breath, don't mess around - go to the ER.

I had a friend who got the vaccine and had a really bad reaction. She had hives, swelling, and trouble breathing. It turned out to be an allergic reaction. She went to the hospital and they gave her some medication to help. If you have any signs of an allergic reaction, seek medical help right away. My friend is okay now, but it was scary at the time.

Seriously, though, if you feel really bad, don't just tough it out. Call your doctor or go to the hospital. Better safe than sorry. I know people who put it off and ended up regretting it.

I got mine last week and had a sore arm for a couple of days. Nothing too bad. Just rest and ice helped a lot.

I was really nervous about getting the vaccine, but I'm glad I did. I had some side effects, but they were mild and went away quickly. Plus, I feel better knowing I'm protected against COVID-19. Just remember, if you experience any severe side effects, seek medical help right away.
