Hey everyone, I just got my Pfizer 3-4 (covid 2024-25) 0.3ml shot today. I'm curious to hear from others who have gotten it. Did you experience any side effects? I've heard mixed things about the new mRNA vaccine. Some people say it's a game-changer, while others are concerned about potential side effects. I felt a bit dizzy after the shot but am otherwise feeling fine. The nurse said it's normal and there's no need to worry but I've been getting paranoid. Did anybody else have any ill side effects or am I just overthinking it? I'm also interested in hearing about the long-term effects, if anyone knows anything about that. Also, how long until I can get back to my normal routine? I have a big presentation at work next week and I don't want to miss it. All the best, thank you.

Dizziness can be a side effect so you should definitely monitor yourself for the next 24-48 hours. If you feel really bad or have any other symptoms you feel are unusual, contact your doctor. I had a friend who had a mild reaction to a previous vaccine but some precautions and planning went a long way to making things a lot better.

I read that the mRNA technology is really safe and effective. It's like giving your body a blueprint to fight the virus without actually giving it the virus. Pretty amazing stuff, if you ask me. Plus, the side effects are usually mild and go away quickly.

I've had trouble with vaccines before but I feel like I've been more proactive than usual preparing for this shot. I brought a friend and brought a bottle of water and my phone. I read that it actually helps to stay hydrated and be around people for a little bit after you get a vaccine.

I got mine last week and had a slight fever and chills for a day, but other than that, I felt fine. My doctor said it's normal and that my immune system is just working hard to fight whatever it is. I'm glad you're feeling okay though!
