Just got my Recombivax-HB shot - what to expect in the next few days?
I just got my first dose of Recombivax-HB 40mcg/ml Inj, 1ml and I'm curious about what side effects other people have experienced. The nurse mentioned some common ones but I want to hear from people who have been through it. How bad was the pain at the injection site? Did anyone experience anything more serious like a severe allergic reaction? Also, any tips on how to deal with the side effects would be appreciated!

I had a mild fever and headache after my second dose. It wasn't too bad, but I did have to take it easy for a day. The vaccine doesn't sound too pleasant, but I’m glad I got it because Hepatitis B is no joke.
I didn’t have any side effects at all! But my friend got really irritable and had diarrhea. It was just for a day, but it was rough. Definitely drink plenty of water and rest.
I had a high fever and chills after my shot, but it only lasted for a day. I was worried at first, but my doctor said it was just a normal reaction to the vaccine. Everyone reacts differently, so don’t worry too much.
I got my shot and felt fine all day and woke up the next morning feeling like I had the flu. Aches, tired, fever, you name it. The second day it was gone but hope your body does the same.
