I recently got my first dose of the Spikevax (Moderna) COVID-19 vaccine for the 2023-24 cycle. The process was straightforward, and I'm curious to hear from others who have experienced similar vaccination. How did you find the experience? I didn't have any severe side effects, just a bit of soreness at the injection site and a slight headache. I’ve heard rumors about the side effects, but I feel fine. I wonder if the vaccine side effects are different for the 23-24 Pfs Blis formulation. I also want to share some of the side effects, but I am not sure if they are urgent side effects. Has anyone experienced any severe side effects and any changes in eyesight or hearing? I hope to hear from others about their experience with this vaccine.

I experienced heart problems after my second dose. It was scary, but I'm okay now. Just make sure to monitor any chest pain or shortness of breath. It's important to report side effects to the FDA/CDC Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) at https://vaers.hhs.gov/reportevent.html or by calling 1-800-822-7967. Everyone should be aware of the potential risks.

Not sure about you guys, but I had a really sore arm. I heard it's normal, but it was surprising how painful it was that day. I also had some redness and swelling and my glands were swollen and tender

I actually felt more tired than anything else. The soreness went away after a couple of days. Just make sure to drink plenty of water and rest if you feel tired. Some people get a fever of 100.4°F (38°C) or higher and also feel dizzy. Some people experience pain, redness, or swelling at the injection site, muscle or joint pain, chills, upset stomach, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea, swollen or tender glands, feeling tired or unwell and in young children, irritation, crying, and sleepiness. It is important to report any severe side effects to the FDA/CDC Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) at https://vaers.hhs.gov/reportevent.html or by calling 1-800-822-7967

I had a bit more of a reaction. I felt really tired and had chills for a day, but it was manageable. I've heard that the side effects can vary a lot from person to person
