I just received a prescription for Polocaine Mpf 1.5% Inj, 30ml for my upcoming dental procedure. The dentist said it would numb the area to prevent pain during the procedure. I'm a bit nervous as it’s my first time using this medication. Has anyone else used Polocaine Mpf 1.5% Inj, 30ml? What was your experience like? I'm particularly worried about the potential side effects, especially the more serious ones like allergic reactions or acidosis. Any advice on how to handle these if they arise? Also, how long does the numbing effect typically last? I don’t want to be feeling woozy for hours after my procedure. I'm looking forward to hearing from anyone who’s been through this!

Be careful with the side effects, though. I had a friend who got severe dizziness and had to sit down for a while. Make sure you have someone to accompany you just in case.

Do they give you a printout of the side effects? There are so many potential symptoms, It’s a bit overwhelming but the doctor has to go over everything so it takes a while.

Polocaine Mpf 1.5% Inj, 30ml worked great for me during my root canal. The area was completely numb, and I didn't feel a thing. The numbing effect lasted about 2-3 hours. Just make sure to follow your dentist's post-care instructions. No serious side effects for me.

I worked as a dental assistant, and I can tell you that while Polocaine Mpf 1.5% Inj, 30ml is very effective, the side effects can be a bit alarming if you’re not prepared. Make sure to ask your dentist about any strange symptoms you might experience. It's better to be safe.

I had a good experience with Polocaine Mpf 1.5% Inj, 30ml. No serious side effects, just a bit of dizziness. It’s actually a bit of a relief that there are side effects listed. It makes you feel safer knowing what to expect.

This thread is making me nervous. Is it normal to feel this anxious about a dental procedure? I’m more worried about the side effects than the procedure itself.

Sorry to hear about your bad experience. Can you share more details about what happened? Was it an allergic reaction?
