So I just got out of surgery and the doctor prescribed Ketorolac 30mg/ml Inj, 1ml injections. I've never heard of this drug before and I'm feeling a bit anxious. It's an NSAID, so I'm assuming it's for pain relief, but the side effects list is a bit scary. Especially the urgent side effects section. I'm mostly worried about kidney problems and bleeding. Has anyone else had experience with this drug? How did it go for you?

I was given this after a car accident. It works great, but I had to stop because of headaches. If you have any questions, just ask your doctor, they’re there to help.

I worked in a hospital pharmacy and saw a lot of people on Ketorolac. Most had no issues, but always follow the doctor's advice and call if you're worried.

Didn't your doctor discuss the risks with you? They should have. Might want to give them a call for some reassurance.

I had a bad experience with NSAIDs in the past, so I avoided Ketorolac. Maybe consider an alternative? But I know everyone's different. Hope you feel better soon!

NSAIDs can be rough on the stomach. Make sure to take it with food if you can. And seriously, if you puke blood, go to the ER.

You're right, the side effects are scary. Make sure to stay hydrated and monitor your urine output closely. That's what I did and I was fine.

My mom had some issues with bleeding while on Ketorolac. She had to stop taking it. Be careful and keep an eye out for any unusual symptoms. Stick close to the hospital.

My girlfriend took it and swears by it. No side effects, pain gone. But listen to the people saying it might be worth calling your doctor, You'll feel safer.
