I've just started using Methylprednisolone SS 1000mg Inj for severe arthritis flare-ups. I was given this high dose to help manage flare ups, and I'm honestly a bit worried about the potential side effects. Does anyone else have experience with this? How did you handle the side effects? I'm especially worried about the ones that require immediate medical attention, like high blood sugar or signs of infection. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated! I'm also curious if anyone has stories about how effective this medication has been for them in the past.

I had some skin changes, but it was nothing major. I got a rash on my thighs, my doctor said it was nothing serious and it went away after a few weeks. Just keep your doctor in the loop.

I used this drug for asthma attacks. It worked like a charm, but the side effects were brutal. Just be careful and listen to your body.

I was on this for a while. Helped a ton but did cause some insomnia for me. Definitely worth talking to your doc about potential side effects.

I was scared too, but it helped me with my autoimmune issues, and it was worth it. The side effects were minor compared to how bad I was feeling.

It's a tough one, but it can really help. My friend's dad had Cushing’s syndrome after taking Methylprednisolone. It was scary, but he got better after the treatment.

Be careful with this one. I had some bad experiences with it. I would ask your doctor if there aren't some other possible options.

I had a similar experience. My doctor monitored me closely, and I was fine. Just make sure you have regular check-ups.

I had to take Methylprednisolone for a few days after an asthma attack. I felt like a zombie for a day or two, but it did help. Fixed me right up.

You can also try some complementary therapies to help manage the side effects. Stuff like meditation and yoga helped me a lot.
