Just got prescribed Morphine Sulf Rect 30mg Suppositories for chronic pain. What's your experience?
I've been dealing with chronic pain for a while now, and my doctor just prescribed me Morphine Sulfate Rectal Suppositories 30mg. I've never used a suppository before, and to be honest, I'm a bit nervous. I've heard these can be really effective for pain management, but I'm also aware of the potential side effects. Has anyone else used these? What was your experience like? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Also, are there any specific things I should monitor for, aside from the usual side effects? Thanks in advance!

Be careful with these. They're strong stuff. Make sure you're not mixing them with other meds that could cause problems. Serotonin syndrome is no joke. Stay safe!
I've never had to use them, but my mom did when she was in hospice. They helped her a lot, but she had to be really careful with them. Just be cautious and listen to your doctor. Good luck!
I had a friend who had to stop because of the constipation. It was really bad. Maybe talk to your doctor about preventative measures? Hope it works for you, though. Pain sucks. Stay strong!
I've had a lot of stomach pain from these. I'm just warning you this is common. You might want to talk to your doctor about that. I wish you the best!
Suppositories are weird, but if they work, they work. Just be prepared for the side effects and listen to your body. You'll be okay! Stay positive!
