I was just prescribed Nayzilam for my seizure clusters. I've heard it can be a game-changer for stopping acute seizures, but I'm also a bit nervous about the potential side effects. Has anyone else used this nasal spray? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both good and bad. How did you find it worked? Did you experience any of the more serious side effects? Also, any tips on administration would be great—is it as easy as it sounds? Thanks in advance for sharing your stories and advice!

I can't wait to try it myself. I just ordered it and it should be here next week. I hope it works well for me like it has for all of you. Fingers crossed. Thanks for the tips, everyone.

I've been using Nayzilam for a few months now, and it's been a lifesaver. No more rushing to the ER during a seizure cluster. Just a quick spray and I start to feel better within minutes. The only side effect I've had is some mild nose irritation, but it's totally worth it. Definitely gives me peace of mind knowing I can manage it at home.

I'm so glad this thread exists. I've been prescribed Nayzilam, but I'm scared to use it because of all the possible side effects. Thanks for sharing your experiences, everyone. It's reassuring to know that it really helps some people and that the severe side effects are rare.

You can't believe how much it has changed my life. No more waiting around to get to the hospital. With Nayzilam, my seizures stop in less than five minutes, so I'm able to go about my day like nothing happened. The side effects are a small price to pay compared to the alternative.

This is so important to talk about. The best advice I got was to keep it with me at all times. Just in case, you know? It's not very big, and it's easy to carry around. Don't leave it at the hospital or at home. Always have a backup on you.

Side note: anyone know how long it takes to work? I've had it for a week but haven't needed to use it yet. But it's good to know it might only take 5 minutes to stop a seizure.

I've found that the best way to use it is to tilt your head back and spray it in one nostril. Don't tilt it too much or you'll get it in your throat and it won't be as effective. And always make sure your caregiver knows how to do it too, so they can help if you can't.

I wish my doctor had told me about Nayzilam sooner. It's so much easier than dealing with emergency care every time. Plus, I feel so much better knowing I can handle it myself. Just a quick spray and I'm good to go.
