I just got my Adacel vaccine today as a part of a booster to protect against diphtheria, tetanus, and whooping cough. I worried a lot about the side effects, but I'm glad I got the vaccine. It's amazing how this little shot can protect you from such serious diseases!
I got the Adacel vaccine last year and had a bit of soreness and redness at the injection site, but nothing too bad. Everyone's immune system reacts differently, so it's good to stay alert for any unusual symptoms.
I had a bit of nausea and vomiting after my Adacel shot. But honestly, I've had worse from just a bad meal! It's still way better than the alternative of getting really sick!
