I recently got the Gardasil 9 vaccination and I've been curious about others' experiences. I've heard that it helps protect against various types of HPV, but I've also been worried about the potential side effects. I experienced some joint pain and a mild fever after the injection, but I wanted to ask if anyone else has had similar experiences or other side effects? I noticed some of the more severe side effects listed, but hopefully, those are rare. Has anyone had to deal with those? Any tips on how to manage the side effects would be awesome!

I got Gardasil 9 last year and had some muscle pain. It made doing normal activities a little hard for a while. I did some research and found that it is a common side effect, but I wish I had known about it beforehand. I hope you feel better soon

I am a nurse and I wouldn't worry about the side effects too much. They are mostly mild and go away quickly. But if you have any concerns, definitely talk to your doctor.

I had the vaccine last year and felt a bit weak and had a headache for a day. Nothing too bad. But I heard some people experience seizures as a side effect. Does anyone know if this is common? I wonder what the chances are!

I got the vaccine a few months ago and had a bit of a sore arm for a couple of days. Nothing too bad, though. Just make sure to stay hydrated and rest if you feel tired.

I've had Gardasil 9 and experienced some pretty severe dizziness. Make sure you stay in the clinic or doctor's office for a bit after getting the shot. Also, if you feel dizzy, don't drive yourself home. My friend had to deal with it and it made me really worried.

I had a whole bunch of side effects, including a sore throat and diarrhea. It lasted about a couple of days, but it got better eventually. Honestly, that sounds awful, but I've heard that it's not that common. It does make me worry about the other side effects, but it's worth it for the protection it gives you.

Dizziness is a common side effect of many vaccines. I've had it before and it's not fun. If this happens to you, just lay down and rest until it passes.

Just finished round 3 of Gardasil 9. No big side effects, but I definitely feel achy and tired. I am taking it easy today and resting. But it's worth it to prevent cervical cancer for sure

I had a severe allergic reaction to Gardasil 9. I had to go to the emergency room. It's a huge risk if you have any allergies so make sure to get checked out before getting the vaccination.
