I just got the M-M-r Ii 0.5ml Im/sq (10 Pack) vaccine for my child today. The nurse said it would protect against measles, mumps, and rubella, which is great, but I'm a bit worried about the side effects. The list is pretty long, and I'm not sure what to expect. Has anyone else had their child vaccinated with this recently? What was your experience like? Did you notice any of the side effects mentioned, like fever or swelling at the injection site? I'd love to hear from other parents who have gone through this. Also, what should I do if I notice any of the more severe symptoms? Should I be prepared to take my child to the ER, or is it okay to call the pediatrician first? Any advice would be appreciated.

I'm a bit nervous too, but I know it's important. Just keep a close eye on your kid and call the doctor if anything seems off.

My kid had a bit of irritability and muscle pain but nothing severe. It was short-lived. Just give them lots of love and rest.

Vaccines are crucial for public health. Yes, there are side effects, but the benefits far outweigh the risks. For example, the risk of measles is much higher than any side effect from the vaccine.

I'm glad you're being proactive about this. It's important to be informed. My kid had a bit of swelling at the injection site, but it went away quickly. Just keep an eye out for any signs of an allergic reaction, and you'll be fine.

I read something about vaccines causing behavioral changes, anyone else heard about this?

We had our daughter vaccinated last week and she was a bit fussy afterwards and had a mild fever but it all went away after a day. Nothing to worry about. It’s normal, just keep them hydrated and comfy.

I had the M-M-r Ii vaccine as a kid and I turned out fine. Don’t worry too much, okay? Just monitor for the really serious symptoms and you’ll be good.

I work in a clinic and we see a lot of kids getting this vaccine. Most have mild reactions, but some do have more severe ones. Just be vigilant and call your doctor if you’re unsure.

Had a friend whose kid had a really bad reaction, but it’s rare. Just be prepared and know the signs.

Make sure to report any side effects to VAERS. It helps track vaccine safety. My kid had no issues, but better safe than sorry.
