Hey everyone, I just found out I have molluscum contagiosum and my dermatologist prescribed Ycanth 0.7% Top Soln. She said it causes a blister to form on the lesions, which helps them clear up. I'm a bit nervous because it has to be applied by a healthcare professional and the side effects list is scary. Has anyone else used this? What was your experience like? Any tips or warnings? I just want to be prepared.

Ycanth is a last resort for me. I will try everything else before I get to the point of blister treatment. We need more non-invasive options.

I had a really bad reaction to Ycanth. Severe pain and blistering, it felt like third-degree burns. Not worth it for just a few bumps. And yes, I contacted the FDA.

I had a similar experience with Ycanth. The application was quick and the blistering did start to clear up the lesions. I didn't experience major pain or irritation, just a bit of discomfort. It's worth it in the end, but be prepared for minor discomfort.

Excellent treatment, especially for severe cases of MCV. I had the treatment done by a doctor and it worked well. Skin irritation and redness were manageable. Thanks to Ycanth, I am DCV-free! Just be mindful of the severe side effects and keep in touch with your healthcare provider.

I had molluscum for years and finally tried Ycanth. It was rough, but totally worth it to finally be clear. Just make sure to keep an eye on the area afterwards. It helped to put gauze on the blisters after the treatment.

I had a friend who used Ycanth and it worked for them, but they experienced some blistering and pain. Make sure to talk to your doctor about managing any discomfort during the process
