I just had cataract surgery and was prescribed Bromfenac 0.09% Opth Sol 1.7ml to reduce pain and inflammation in my eye. This is my first time using an eye drop that belongs to the NSAID group. I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects, especially the urgent ones like allergic reactions or changes in eyesight. Does anyone have any tips or experiences to share about using this medication? How soon did you see improvements? Did you experience any side effects? I appreciate any advice on properly administering the drops and ensuring they work effectively.

I used these drops after my cataract surgery and had a great experience. No serious side effects, and the pain and swelling went away quickly. Just follow the doctor's instructions and you should be fine!

Make sure you wash your hands before applying the drops. Also, tilt your head back and pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pouch. Look up and try not to blink while you apply the drop. Keep your eye closed for a few minutes after to let the medication absorb.

How did your doctor explain to you how it works? I'm curious about this too.

I had a mild headache after using them. I'm not sure if it was directly related to the drops, but it might be worth noting if you experience something similar.
