Just got an MRI with Gadobutrol 1mmol/ml Inj, 15ml contrast agent. The injection went fine, but a few hours later, I started feeling really hot and dizzy. I also noticed some redness around the injection site. Has anyone else experienced these side effects? I'm wondering if I should be worried. My doctor said it was normal, but I'm still not sure. Also, I've heard some people had issues with their kidneys, but I didn't notice any changes with my urine. Anyone else had that happen?

I was terrified when I developed a rash and I started itching nonstop. That's normal? I wouldn't have guessed it! It didn't stop me from getting more MRIs when they were needed, though. I think the headaches is what got me the most, but it was definitely worth it.

I had a similar reaction to Gadobutrol, but I made sure to call my doctor right away. I was worried about the kidney problems, I was afraid I was going to have blood in my urine, but it never got that bad. I was really concerned and it was a relief when it turned out to be minor. I'm still getting medical checkups just in case.

I had redness around the injection site last time I had gadobutrol and was worried about possible allergic reaction. My doctor said it was normal and I'm guessing it will happen again the next time I have it, but it hasn't stopped me from getting MRIs when I need them. It's supposed to help with diagnosis, right?

The injection site was a little sore for me, but nothing crazy. It was my headache that got me. It felt like an icepick was stabbing me right in the brain and wouldn't quit. I drank some water and ate an aspirin and eventually felt better. I did have some changes in taste for a while, which was actually kind of strange. Just to let you know what to expect if you ever experience something similar in the future.
