I've recently been prescribed Alprazolam ER 2mg Tablets to manage my anxiety and panic disorder. I'm nervous about starting this medication, as I've heard mixed reviews about benzodiazepines. I want to hear from those who have experience with this specific extended-release form. How has it worked for you? What side effects did you experience? How has it affected your daily life? Any tips on managing side effects or integrating the medication into your routine would be greatly appreciated. I'm also curious about the withdrawal process if and when the time comes to stop taking it. Thanks in advance for sharing your insights!

I found that taking it at night helped with the drowsiness. It made me sleepy at first, but after a few weeks, it evened out. I also tried some cognitive behavioral therapy in combination with the meds, and it really helped with the memory issues. Maybe that could be an option for you too? It's worth talking to your doctor about it

I was on this for a while and it helped a lot with my panic attacks. Just be aware of the side effects, especially the drowsiness. It can be pretty intense at first. Make sure to talk to your doctor about adjusting the dose if you need to. After a few weeks, it leveled out and I felt so much better. It didn't make me gain any weight, but I've heard that can happen to some people. This was a lifesaver for me

I don't think I'll be stopping anytime soon. I've been on Alprazolam for over a year and I'm scared of the withdrawal symptoms. My doctor said it could be bad. What should I do?

If you're worried about the side effects, just remember that everyone's different. What one person experiences might not happen to you at all. It's all about finding the right dose and seeing how your body responds.
