I've just been prescribed Azithromycin 250mg Tablets 6-Pak for a respiratory infection. I've never taken this antibiotic before and I'm a bit nervous about the possible side effects. I know it's important to finish the entire course even if I start feeling better, but I'm curious about other people's experiences with this medication. Has anyone else taken this before? How did you handle any side effects? Any tips for taking it with food or at a certain time of day? I've read about some serious side effects, so I'm a bit worried. Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I had a bad reaction to this antibiotic. I got severe GI upset and my doctor ended up switching me to a different antibiotic. I felt really sick and dizzy. I had to seek medical help.

I just finished a 5-day course of Azithromycin for a respiratory infection. I also experienced some nausea but it was pretty mild and went away after a couple of days. I took it with food and that seemed to help with any stomach upset.

I've taken Azithromycin a few times and it was fine for me. Just make sure to take it for the full course. I usually take it with a light meal to prevent any stomach upset.

I took it for my STI. Very effective, but I had a bit of stomach upset. I would recommend taking it with food. My doctor always emphasizes taking the full course of antibiotics. It genuinely helps prevent antibiotic resistance and recurrence of infections.
