I just got prescribed Bromfenac 0.075% Opth Sol 5ml after my cataract surgery. The doctor said it's an NSAID to reduce swelling and pain, but I'm a bit nervous about the side effects. Has anyone else used this? How was your experience? I'm especially worried about the urgent side effects like allergic reactions and changes in eyesight. Any tips on how to manage the common ones like eye irritation and seeing floaters? Did anyone experience any weird stuff not on the list? What should I keep an eye out for? Thanks in advance!

I had floaters for days after the surgery, but my doctor said it was normal. Just keep doing your drops as prescribed and rest your eyes as much as you can. I didnt have any problems with my eye, so I dont know what kind of problems you could have. It was a bit annoying, but it was fine.

NSAIDs are always a bit risky. I had them after shoulder surgery. But it really helped, keep an eye on any changes in vision. Here’s a big plus — I didn’t have any major problems. I just had to be pretty careful. It’s really annoying, but it’s the only way, unfortunately

Make sure to wash your hands before and after using the drops. You don't want to get any bacteria in your eyes. It's already a bad idea. I always kept my hands away from the bottle. I used to put the bottle on my bed. Big mistake. I kept the bottle somewhere where no one could touch it.

Dont forget to report any side effects to the FDA if you experience anything weird. I used this and had three other side effects. Keep tabs on your vision and don't hesitate to call your doctor if you get concerned.

I've used it and it was terrible. Since then I always ask my doctor to prescribe something else. I didn't have any major problems. It’s really annoying that people dont know about this. So, be careful and follow the instructions carefully. I would recommend it to anyone.
