I was just prescribed Xodol 5-300mg Tablets for moderate to severe pain after a recent injury. The doctor said it combines hydrocodone and acetaminophen, but I'm nervous about the side effects, especially the serious ones. Has anyone else taken this medication? What were your experiences like? I'm particularly worried about the potential for breathing difficulties and skin reactions. I want to be prepared and know what to look out for. Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Be very careful with this one. I had a friend who had a serious reaction. It's a strong opioid and should be treated that way. Keep an eye on any signs of an allergic reaction. It's better to be safe and report things early.

I was on Xodol for a while after a bad car accident. The pain relief was great, but I did experience some dizziness and drowsiness. Just make sure you don't operate heavy machinery or drive while on it. And definitely stay hydrated – the constipation was rough.

My doctor warned me about the potential for breathing difficulties, but I never experienced them. I did have some mild constipation, though, and I found that eating more fiber helped a lot.

I think it's important to mention that hydrocodone can be very addictive. Make sure you follow your doctor's instructions to the letter and don't take more than prescribed. And if you find that you're craving the medication when you shouldn't be taking it, get help right away.
