I just started chemotherapy and my doctor prescribed Granix 300mcg/1ml Inj Sol 10x1ml to help boost my white blood cell count. I'm a bit nervous about the side effects, especially the serious ones. Has anyone else used this medication? What was your experience like? Any tips on managing the side effects would be greatly appreciated!

Everyone reacts differently to medications. Just make sure to stay on top of any changes in your health and report them to your doctor. Side effects can often be managed if caught early. It's a game of patience my friend, you got this!

Interesting... my doctor mentioned this might help, but I didn't want to deal with the side effects. I really want to know if anyone experienced any of the severe side effects. I saw some scary stuff on the patient information sheet.

I had a pretty rough time with Granix. I experienced some pretty intense bone pain and joint pain. My doctor had to adjust my dosage, but it eventually got better. Just make sure to stay in close contact with your medical team.

I had to use Granix after my last round of chemo. It really helped with my white blood cell count, but I did experience some fatigue and headaches. Nothing too bad, though. Just make sure to stay hydrated and listen to your body.

When I was taking Granix, I had some pretty bad headaches and night sweats. It wasn't fun, but it was worth it to keep my infection risk down. Definitely keep in touch with your doctor, and ask them if you should take something for the headaches.
