I've just been prescribed Penicillin Gk 5mu Inj, 1 Vial to treat an infection. I'm a bit nervous because I've never had an injection for antibiotics before. Can anyone share their experiences with this specific type of Penicillin? Also I'd like to know how to manage some of the side effects I've read about. For example, how do you tell the difference between normal diarrhea and C. diff-associated diarrhea (bothered me before)? How do I watch for signs of an allergic reaction? And what should I do if I experience muscle or joint pain? Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated!

This is the worst form of antibiotic to use. I had to take it and it was a nightmare. The joint pain was unbearable and I had to stop the medication. I had to go to the emergency room because the pain was so severe.

Just make sure to keep an eye on any signs of infection at the injection site. I had a slight redness but no concern because I was told it was normal. I think it lasted for about a day but it was gone after

Watch for the rare side effects. I had a friend who had something like the C. diff-associated diarrhea (CDAD). It was scary, but she caught it early and got treated. You can do it!

I had to take a bunch of tests, first time I had an injection for antibiotics like Penicillin Gk 5mu Inj. It was weird but I was I was fearful the last time because of the allergic reactions. Remember to call your doctor immediately if you notice any major issues

Don’t worry too much. The side effects are usually mild. Just keep an eye on things and if you feel something is wrong, call the doctor. I think the Penicillin worked for me because my doctor told me to wait for a few days. And it worked, no side effects!
