Just received Biorphen 500mcg/5ml Inj, 5ml in the ER. Anyone else experienced this?
I was given Biorphen 500mcg/5ml Inj, 5ml during a recent medical emergency to raise my blood pressure. I was given this during a medical procedure and it really helped stabilize my pressure. Just make sure to report any symptoms to your doctor ASAP. I had some trouble sleeping that night but nothing too bad.
I always get this at the clinic when I need my blood pressure raised. I've tried different dosages, and the right one really helps with no major side effects. I've had a bit of dizziness and restlessness but taking lots of water helps me a lot.
I had an awful experience with this drug. I started having chest pains and shortness of breath. I was rushed to the ICU and had to be monitored for hours. After the initial panic, I felt fine, but it was scary. Definitely let your doctor know if you feel any chest pain. If it persists, go to the ER.
Who needs caffeine when you have Phenylephrine? My heart was racing so fast, I thought I was going to have a heart attack! Obviously I told my doctor because I didn't want to risk it.
This stuff made me extremely restless. I felt like I couldn't sit still for hours after the injection. Stay hydrated and let your doctor know about everything you're feeling, even if it seems minor.
I can confirm sweating as a major side effect! It was like I was running a marathon, but I was just lying in bed. Definitely not fun.
I had some really bad stomach pain after receiving this. I ate something light but still, it was awful. It lasted a few hours, but I managed.
