Hello all, I've just been prescribed Flexbumin 25% Inj, 100ml to help with fluid balance and restore blood volume after a recent surgery. I've read up on the potential side effects, but I'd love to hear from anyone who has experience with this. How was your experience? Did you have any side effects? Any tips on managing them? Also, how long did it take to feel like yourself again after the IV treatment? Thanks in advance!

Flexbumin helped me a lot after some serious burns. I was scared of the side effects but didn't have any issues. Just make sure to talk to your doctor if you feel anything weird.

I didn't even know this was a thing. How do they even extract the albumin from the plasma?

I'm not a fan of IVs. But if you have to do it, might as well do it with the pros like Flexbumin. Seriously hope you feel better!

That stuff saved me after a bad car accident. But yeah, the side effects were real. My blood pressure spiked, and I got a nasty headache. Doctors monitored me closely, though. Trust your medical team, they've got your back.

I was given this after a liver procedure. I didn't have any major side effects, just some mild muscle weakness and fatigue, but that could have been from the surgery itself. Make sure to drink plenty of fluids and take it easy for a few days.

Be prepared for possible fluid and electrolyte problems. I had increased thirst and passed urine more frequently than usual. But overall, it did help me with fluid balance after a kidney procedure.

Wow, 100ml is a lot! Hope you feel better soon. Remember, this was a common blood plasma replacement for wound healing.
