I've recently been prescribed Kedbumin 25% Inj, 100ml. I've looked it up, and I understand that it's an albumin solution used to replace albumin in the blood and increase blood volume, but I am concerned about the possible side effects. I've experienced nausea and lightheadedness in the past when I've had IVs. Does anyone have any insight on this? I'd love to hear about any experiences or advice you have to offer.

I've had a bit of nausea with IVs, but just let the nurse know and they'll take it slow. You are not alone, many people experience this. Take it easy with the Kedbumin and your body will thank you.

I had to get Kedbumin a few times after some major surgeries. The nurses always warned me about the potential side effects, but honestly, I didn't experience any severe ones. Just a bit of discomfort initially. Listen to your medical team, make sure they are monitoring you closely, and you should be fine!

I've never had any issues with Kedbumin. The nurse who administered it said it's generally well-tolerated. Just make sure your healthcare provider is monitoring you closely. Fingers crossed for you!

Family member needed this after some major trauma. They were pretty scared. What a relief when they were okay after. I think it's only natural to worry, but you have to trust your healthcare team. They know what they're doing.

Seems like a lot of people have had positive experiences with it. Just make sure you're communicating openly with your medical team about any concerns or symptoms.

Been there, done that. It's not the most pleasant experience, but it's manageable. Make sure you're hydrated before and after the infusion. And listen to your body—if you feel any of the side effects listed, speak up immediately.

I think it's important to note that reactions can vary greatly from person to person. Some people might have no issues at all, while others could experience more severe side effects. The healthcare team should be aware of your medical history and preexisting conditions to make sure it's safe for you. And definitely a good idea to report any major side effects. Side effects can be a major indicator when something is wrong.

Ugh, IVs are the worst. Good luck! Let us know how it goes.

I had a similar situation where I needed albumin replacement, but I had heard a lot about the allergic reactions. Especially the ones with skin irritations. I had to make sure the hospital did a test dose. No issues, thankfully. My doctor even said it's pretty rare, and most people handle it fine. Just keep an eye out for any signs of allergic reaction. And make sure to report any strange tingling, itching or swelling.

Did you ask your doctor about taking an antihistamine before the infusion? They might put you on a preventative regimen to help mitigate the risk of allergic reactions. You should be able to get a prescription that will make this experience much more bearable. Do you think you could try this out?
