I've just been prescribed Kengreal 50mg Inj Soln, 1 Vial for an upcoming stent procedure. The doctor said it's to prevent blood clots during the procedure. I've never heard of this drug before. Has anyone else taken it? I'm a bit nervous about the possible side effects, especially the urgent ones. I want to make sure I know what to look out for. Any advice or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Kengreal is a great choice for procedures like stents. It acts fast and wears off quickly, which is perfect for these situations. Just make sure to follow your doctor's instructions carefully.

One thing I noticed is that the effects of Kengreal wear off quickly, which is great because it means you won't have to deal with the anti-clotting effects for too long.

Make sure to tell your doctor about any other medications you're taking. Some drugs can interact with Kengreal and cause unexpected side effects.

That's great to hear! Any side effects after the procedure?

If you experience any bleeding issues, you need to report to the doctor! I'm not sure what the blood pressure targets are.

I had a stent placed a few years back and was given Kengreal. It worked well and I didn't have any major side effects. Just a bit of bruising at the injection site.

I’m glad to hear the injection helps! How long did it take for the effects to wear off?

I had a similar experience with blood clots. Kengreal worked well for me, but I did notice some bruising at the injection site. It's normal, just keep an eye on it.

I had a severe headache after the procedure, but my doctor said it's a common side effect. As long as you're aware of the urgent side effects, you should be fine.

Be very careful with this one. I had a friend who had a severe allergic reaction. If you experience any rash or trouble breathing, get to the hospital immediately.
