Just received Ketorolac 30mg/ml injection for post-surgery pain management - any tips or concerns?
I was just prescribed Ketorolac 30mg/ml Inj, 2ml for pain management after my surgery. I've read about the potential side effects, but I'm still a bit nervous. Has anyone had experience with this drug? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both good and bad. Specifically, I'm curious about how quickly it works and if there are any tips for managing side effects. Also, how do they administer it? I've only ever had oral medication before. Thanks in advance for any insights!

It's an injection, so the nurse or doctor will administer it to you. It's quick and not too painful, in my experience. Just relax and it'll be over before you know it.
I've had it a few times after surgery and it works well. Just don't take it if you're allergic to aspirin or other NSAIDs.
I had no idea this was an injection! I've only ever had oral NSAIDs. thanks for the info
I had no idea this was an injection but it works wonders.
I've had it a few times and it works well for short term pain but it gave me a bit of a headache each time. Maybe it's a side effect. Talk to your doc about it.
