So I've been prescribed Cefazolin 500mg Inj, 1 Vial for a skin infection, and I'm feeling a bit nervous about it. I've heard it's commonly used to prevent infections during surgery, but I'm not sure what to expect from the side effects. Anyone have any experience with this? Good or bad? I just want to be prepared for what's coming.

Be prepared for some headaches. It's a common side effect, but not everyone gets them. I got lucky and didn't have any, but my friend did. He said they were pretty bad. Make sure to rest and stay hydrated if you get them. And take some pain relievers if you need to.

I had some vaginal itching after using it. How embarrassing was that? Anywho, make sure you hydrate and if you have any concerns, contact your doctor. Don't be shy. It's not worth risking your health for a little embarrassment.

Be careful with that one. I had a severe allergic reaction to it. Make sure you stay in the doctor's office for at least 30 minutes after the first injection, just in case. Also, watch out for signs of kidney problems. That's where I had issues. Take it easy and drink plenty of water.

I had cefazolin after a heart procedure. It was great. I was a bit worried about the side effects, but I had none. Finger crossed you have the same experience!

I've used Cefazolin a few times for various infections. It's effective, but the side effects can be rough. I always experienced some diarrhea, but nothing too bad. Just be prepared for that. And if you develop some weird rash or fever, call your doctor.
