I've recently been prescribed Methylpred Ace 80mg/ml Inj for my arthritis. My doctor explained that it's a steroid injection to reduce inflammation, but I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects. Has anyone else used this medication? What were your experiences like? I'm specifically curious about the more serious side effects like allergic reactions, infections, and changes in blood sugar. Did anyone find the injection process painful or easy to manage? Also, how long did it take for you to see results? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I found it helped much more with my allergies than my arthritis. It was painful when they injected it, but the relief from my allergy symptoms was incredible. Just be prepared for some discomfort.

Just got the injection today, fingers crossed! I’ll report back if I experience any of the serious side effects. Cheers for the heads up on the side effects, everyone. Thanks!

I've used Methylpred Ace a few times for my joint pain. It worked wonders, but I did experience some insomnia and restlessness. Make sure to take it easy for a few days after the injection.

I didn’t know about the severe abdominal pain. I experienced it and it was horrible. If you feel any severe pain, go to the ER immediately. This stuff is no joke.

I had a really bad reaction to this drug. I got hives and had trouble breathing. Went to the ER and they told me it was an allergic reaction. Be careful and watch for any signs of an allergic reaction.

I've had a pretty good experience with this. No major side effects, just a bit of nausea. It really helped with the inflammation in my joints. Good luck!

I got this for a bad allergy flare-up and it worked like a charm. The only issue was a bit of a headache, but it went away quickly. I’m not sure how it compares to other steroid injections for arthritis, though.

Be careful with this one. I gained a ton of weight in my midsection and got a moon face. Doctors said it was Cushing's syndrome. It was scary, but it went away after I stopped the injections.
