Just received my Nitrolingual Pump Spray 200 Doses! Has anyone else used this for angina? What's your experience?
I've just been prescribed Nitrolingual Pump Spray 200 Doses for my angina. I've never used a nitroglycerin spray before, so I'm a bit nervous. I understand it's supposed to work quickly to relieve chest pain by relaxing blood vessels. Has anyone else used this? What should I expect in terms of side effects and overall effectiveness? I'm also curious about how long it takes to work and how long the effects last. Any tips on how to use it properly would be greatly appreciated!

I've had some bad side effects, like severe headaches and dizziness. Talk to your doctor about it, but be prepared to switch meds if it gets unbearable. Other than that, it does the job.
I don’t know why they don’t make it clear, but you just need to use it just before an activity you know will cause angina. You do not need to wait for symptoms. I wish they'd make that clearer.
I've been using nitro spray for years. It makes you feel like you've had a couple of drinks because of the blood vessel dilation, but it really helps.
I’ve been using Nitrolingual for a few months now. It works like a charm. Just spray it under your tongue, and within a minute or two, you’ll feel the relief. Make sure to keep it handy at all times, as you never know when an attack might hit.
I’ve had to use Nitrolingual a few times, and it’s pretty effective. Just make sure you’re monitoring your heart rate and blood pressure regularly. And definitely keep your doctor in the loop about any side effects you experience.
I worry about the safety of this stuff too. But I also know if I have an attack and don't use it, it could be a lot worse. It's a delicate balance.
Be careful with this stuff. It's powerful. Make sure you’re sitting down when you use it because it can cause a sudden drop in blood pressure, and you might feel lightheaded. Also, don’t use it more than three times in 15 minutes – that’s a common mistake.
