I just got my first dose of the Rabavert 1ml IM Kit vaccine for rabies. I've heard it can have some side effects, but I want to hear from others who have also taken it. Has anyone else received this vaccine? What were your experiences like? I'm particularly interested in knowing about the side effects. Did you experience any of the urgent side effects mentioned, like trouble breathing, allergic reactions, or menstrual problems? What about other side effects like pain at the injection site, flu-like symptoms, or stomach pain? I'm also curious about how often these side effects occur and how long they last. If you didn't experience any side effects, that's good to know too! Also, if you didn't experience any side effects, how do you know it's actually working? Do you have any tips for managing side effects if they do occur? I'd appreciate any insights you can share.

You're braver than me. I would probably pass out from the sight of the needle. I have a bad phobia of needles.

I'm not surprised you experienced side effects after getting the vaccine. It's known to cause a wide range of side effects, but it's important to talk to your doctor if you have any concerns or questions.

I got the vaccine a few years ago as a precaution while working with animals. I experienced some mild side effects like a headache and muscle pain, but nothing too severe. It's important to remember that these side effects are usually temporary and much less serious than contracting rabies. I think it's better to be safe and get vaccinated.

I think it's important to remember that vaccines can have side effects, but they are generally mild and temporary. I had a bit of soreness at the injection site, but otherwise, I felt fine and there are no signs of any other side effects. I think it's better to be safe and get vaccinated against rabies.

I got the vaccine a few years back when I was traveling in Asia. I didn't experience any side effects at all. I felt fine the whole time and didn't even notice any soreness at the injection site. Maybe I was just lucky. But I'm glad I did it. I think it's better to be safe and vaccinated in case of exposure.

I had a pretty rough time with it. I got the flu-like symptoms, headache, chills, vomiting and it lasted for a couple of days. Do not know if this is normal or if I was unlucky. It was horrible while it lasted, but I know it's better than getting rabies. I'm considering reporting to VAERS because it was really intense. Has anybody else had similar experience?

You should consider reporting your symptoms if you experience the flu-like symptoms. Don't just assume it will go away on it's own, because you never know when it could get worse.

I had no idea Rabavert had so many potential side effects. I wish my doctor had warned me about it

It's good to get vaccinated, but you should really do your research. I personally would find out what the percentages are of getting side effects vs. actually getting rabies. I wouldn't personally get vaccinated against rabies if I wasn't in a high risk area, but that's just me. I think it's good to be aware of the risks.

I got mine last week and so far, nothing too bad. Just a bit of soreness at the injection site.
