Just received Prevduo 3-0.6mg/3ml Syringe for post-surgery muscle recovery - any personal experiences or tips to share?
I was prescribed Prevduo 3-0.6mg/3ml Pf Syringe, 3ml to help with muscle recovery after surgery. The medication is given by injection to reverse the effects of muscle relaxants, allowing me to breathe and move normally again. I'm a bit nervous about the side effects, especially the serious ones listed. Has anyone else had any experience with this medication? What was your experience like? I work in healthcare and I’ve seen patients have mild issues like headaches and fatigue, but nothing too severe. Just make sure to report any major issues to your doctor right away.
Just make sure you stay hydrated and rest as much as possible. I had some dizziness but it went away after a few hours. Also talk to your doctor about any preexisting conditions and how this can affect your treatment
The side effects list is scary. I’d be concerned about allergic reactions if you have any known allergies. And all of that eye stuff? Ouch. But it should help you recover quicker!
I actually had the opposite side effects; I felt more awake and alert than usual. Talk to your doc if you feel weird.
I've had a few friends who needed this after surgery. They all said it helped a lot with mobility but one of them had bad dizziness, definitely talk to your doctor about that.
Just remember, everyone's body reacts differently to meds. Don't be too quick to blame the Prevduo if you feel off. There are other factors to consider like your stress levels and pain levels.
I had a similar prescription after my surgery. It worked wonders! The injection site might be a bit sore, but that's normal.

I had a bad experience with this med. I got terrible muscle weakness and even had ER sit in the ED for 4 hours. It was horrible. Be careful .
The advice from the other comments is good, but don't forget to follow your care plan. Prevduo can be very effective but needs to be dosed correctly for best results.
