I've just been prescribed Sod Chloride 0.45% Inj, 500ml for dehydration. The doctor mentioned it's a sterile saltwater solution to help with fluid balance. My dad had this and he did have a serious reaction to it. His whole arm swelled up and he had trouble breathing. He had to go to the ER. Be careful.

I had a friend who got a serious infection at the injection site. Make sure they use a clean needle and monitor the area closely. Any signs of infection and you need to tell your doctor.
