I was recently prescribed Alogliptin/pioglitazone 25/45mg Tb to help manage my type 2 diabetes. I've been taking it for a few weeks now and wanted to know if anyone else has experience with this medication. I am curious about side effects and suggestions for managing blood sugar better. So far, I've only had mild headaches but I've heard the side effects can get more serious, which makes me a little worried. From what I understand, it's important to combine this medication with a healthy diet and regular exercise, but I would love to hear specific tips on that. Thanks!

I switched to this from another combo and it’s improved my energy levels. Also, drink lots of water, it helps with the side effects.

I've been on this for a year and it's really helped me. Just be prepared for some joint pain, but it's manageable. Also, keep an eye on your blood sugar levels frequently, especially when you start.

I’ve had no issues, but my friend had some nasty side effects. Just keep an open dialogue with your doctor and be vigilant about your health.

Make sure to monitor your liver function regularly. This medication can cause liver problems, so keep an eye on those symptoms.

I've been taking it and it’s generally fine, but I've noticed some stomach issues. Has anyone else had that?

I take this and have noticed some skin reactions, so I've been very careful. If you experience anything like that, get to a doctor ASAP. It can get serious.

I had a severe allergic reaction when I tried this. It was terrifying and I had to go to the ER. It's rare, but be careful!
