Hello everyone, I was recently prescribed Amjevita 80mg/0.8ml 2 Auto Injector to manage my rheumatoid arthritis. I've heard it's a biosimilar version of Humira, but I'm still a bit nervous about the side effects and how it will work for me. I've been using it for a week now and I'm not sure what to expect. Can anyone share their experiences with this medication? How does it compare to Humira? What side effects should I be particularly aware of? Also, any tips on managing the injections would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Be prepared for some common side effects like headaches and stomach pain. But don't worry, they usually go away after a few days. Just keep an eye out for any serious symptoms and call your doctor if something feels off.

I've been on Amjevita for a couple of months and it's been a game-changer for my psoriasis. The injections are a bit painful, but the reduction in inflammation is worth it. Just make sure to rotate injection sites to avoid any skin reactions.

I switched from Humira to Amjevita and didn't notice much of a difference. The only thing I've heard is that occasionally the side-effects are a bit more severe but I haven't experienced that. Just be sure to keep your doctor in the loop about any issues you have. Good luck!

I was naive at first and thought that just because it was a biosimilar it would be a breeze. I was wrong. It's very effective, but you have to be prepared for some initial discomfort. Just remember it will get better!

I heard Amjevita can cause some serious infections, so I always keep an eye out for fever or sore throat. Saves you a lot of time and stress when you know your symptoms.

Has anyone else had issues with skin reactions? I've been getting some red, scaly patches around the injection site, and it's really worrying me. Any advice would be appreciated.

I've been on Amjevita for a while now, and while it's helped with my Crohn's disease, I've had some issues with nerve problems. I get this tingling sensation sometimes, but my doctor says it's manageable. Just keep an eye on any unusual symptoms and report them to your doctor.

OMG, the injections are scary at first, but you get used to it. Just remember to breathe and do it quickly!

I've had no side effects so far in 3 months. But I know it's super individual. My doctor told not to fear the worst and start with the basics. A bit of pain, some redness, but that's pretty much it.

Yeah, the injection sites can be a bit sore. I use a warm compress afterwards which helps a lot. Also, make sure to keep the auto-injector at room temperature before use—it makes the injection smoother.
