Just started Azithromycin 100mg/5ml Susp 15ml - anyone have experience with this?
I've been prescribed Azithromycin 100mg/5ml oral suspension (15ml) for a respiratory infection. I'm a bit nervous about the side effects, especially the severe ones. Has anyone else taken this and can share their experience? Also, any tips on how to take it? I'm assuming I should take it on an empty stomach?

I had to take this for a bad case of bronchitis. It knocked it out but I had a weird metallic taste in my mouth the whole time.
I'm allergic to a lot of antibiotics. Make sure you're not having an allergic reaction if you start to feel weird.
If you finish the course and still feel bad, go to the doctor. I had a friend who didn't and ended up with a worse infection.
I took it for a skin infection and it worked great! Just make sure to finish the entire course even if you feel better. I didn't have any bad side effects.
