I was recently diagnosed with atrial fibrillation and my cardiologist prescribed Betapace AF 160mg Tablets. I started taking them in the hospital under close monitoring, as the doctor warned about the risk of Torsade de Pointes. I'm trying to stay positive, but I'm also worried about the potential side effects. Has anyone else had experience with this medication? I'd love to hear about your journeys and any tips you might have for managing the side effects. It would be amazing if we could also get tips on how to stay positive while going through this.

Has anyone had issues with erectile dysfunction? I'm nervous about this potential side effect. It's a sensitive topic, but I think we all understand the importance of staying positive.

Not sure if it's the medication or just the stress, but I've been having these weird vision changes. It's like everything is slightly blurry. I'll have to talk to my doctor and see if we can switch meds.

I had a friend who took Betapace and had to stop because of severe dizziness. It's definitely a tough medication to handle, but for some people, it's a lifesaver. I'm glad you're getting support.

I'm really glad to see people sharing their experiences. My doctor didn’t tell me about the sweating part. I thought I was just going crazy because of the medication. Now I know why it’s happening and will be more prepared.

My biggest tip is to start slow with the medication and work up your dosage in the hospital. I tried taking it on my own and ended up in the ER. Take it easy and listen to your body!

Stay strong! It gets better with time. I've been on this for a year now and while I used to get dizzy, I’m almost back to normal. Take it one day at a time.

Has anyone here known someone who's had Torsade de Pointes from this med? I keep reading about it and it's genuinely terrifying. I need to be more careful with my diet and not overdo it with salt.

Be prepared for some dizziness and exhaustion. I felt like a zombie at first, but it gets better. I also got a great tip from my doctor: try to drink plenty of water and get as much rest as you can. Apparently, dehydration and stress can worsen the symptoms.

It's scary to think about the serious side effects, but my doctor assured me that the risk is low if taken correctly. Still, I'm glad I'm being monitored.
