Hello everyone, I've just been prescribed Cancidas 50mg Inj for a serious fungal infection. I'm a bit nervous as I've never had an injection like this before. The doctor explained that it works by attacking the cell walls of the fungi, but I'm wondering what the injection process is like and what side effects I should be aware of. Has anyone else had experience with this medication? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

My friend had to take this and she said it was rough. She had some pretty bad headaches and stomach issues, but nothing too severe. She felt much worse before she started to feel better. Keep your spirits up! You got this.

Be on the lookout for signs of low potassium or magnesium. Those can be scary if left untreated. My doctor told me to eat bananas and leafy greens to keep my levels up. Keep a close eye on your diet.

So what's the deal with the Stevens-Johnson syndrome? Is that something I should be genuinely worried about? I've been reading horror stories online.

It's frustrating to see so many side effects, but some people don't get any. Fingers crossed you avoid the worst of it! Keep us updated on your progress, though. We're here if you need us! You can do this, stay strong!

If the injection site starts to really hurt, you can ask your doctor about a different injection site or a cream. I had a bad reaction to that and my doctor was very helpful. Just let them know what's up.
