Just started Cefaclor 500mg ER Tablets – What to Expect?
I was prescribed Cefaclor 500mg ER Tablets for a urinary tract infection. It's a bit intimidating because of all the potential side effects, especially the severe ones. Has anyone else taken this antibiotic? What was your experience like? Did you encounter any of the more serious side effects, or did it go smoothly for you? Also, how effective was it in dealing with the infection? Really appreciate any insights or personal stories you all have to share!

My doc said the risk of severe side effects is super low, but I was still pretty nervous. Just keep an eye on things, and you'll be fine.
My friend had a similar issue with Cefaclor. I think it was diarrhea or something and they had to stop taking it. I guess it really varies from person to person, huh?
Just a reminder, diarrhea can be a sign of a serious condition, so don't ignore it if it gets bad.
I've had better luck with other antibiotics. But if you're looking to avoid taking it more than once a day, I'm sure it's worth a shot.
Be sure to finish the full course of antibiotics even if you feel better. Stopping early can lead to antibiotic resistance.
I've had no issues with it. Seems like a lot of people do though, so just be careful and listen to your body.
