Just started Citalopram 10mg for depression - Any side effects I should watch out for?
Hey everyone, I just started taking Citalopram 10mg a few days ago to manage my depression. My doctor said it should help with my mood and energy levels, but I'm a bit nervous about the side effects. I had a rough time with this one. The sexual side effects were really tough to deal with. Just be prepared and talk to your doctor about it if it happens to you.
I had some strange dreams when I first started. It was kinda funny, but also a bit scary. Just be aware that it can mess with your sleep patterns at first.
It takes time to find the right dose. If you're experiencing side effects, check with your doctor to see if you can adjust the dose.
I didn't have any side effects, but I did notice that it made me feel a bit flat emotionally at first. It's weird, but it goes away eventually.
Citalopram saved my life. I was in a really dark place, and it helped me feel like myself again. Just give it time and be patient with yourself.
