I've just started taking Dexamethasone injections for severe inflammation and I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed by the long list of possible side effects. Has anyone else had experience with this medication? I'm particularly worried about the serious side effects like signs of an allergic reaction or infection. Anyone have tips on managing the side effects? I've been trying to stay positive but would love to hear from others who have been through this!

Be really careful with this stuff. I had a bad reaction and ended up in the ER. Definitely keep an eye out for any signs of an allergic reaction.

I had some serious nausea and vomiting when I first started. My doctor gave me some anti-nausea meds, and that helped a lot. Might be worth talking to your doc about.

I've been on Dexamethasone for a while now, and it's been a lifesaver for my arthritis. Just make sure to stay in touch with your doctor and report any unusual symptoms right away.

Dealing with side effects is tough, but imagine what it would be like without the medication. You're doing the right thing by staying informed.

Just a heads up, watch out for signs of infection. I ended up with a really bad chest cold and had to stop for a while.

I've never had Dexamethasone, but I've heard the side effects can be really tough. I've had it easier with Prednisone, less side effects and more control.

I had some great results with it, but I know people who had really bad reactions. Just keep an eye on everything and talk to your doctor as soon as you feel unsure.

I know it's tough, but try not to worry too much about the side effects. Everyone's body reacts differently. Just follow your doctor's advice and you'll be okay.

I've had some weird skin changes and mood swings, but nothing too bad. Just make sure to stay hydrated and rest as much as you can.
