I was recently prescribed Eliquis Starter Pack 5mg Tablets to help manage my atrial fibrillation. My doctor explained that it helps prevent blood clots, which is a relief, but I'm also nervous about the potential side effects. Has anyone else taken this medication? What was your experience like? I'm particularly concerned about the urgent side effects like bleeding and neurological symptoms. How can I tell if these are just normal adjustments or something more serious? Any advice on managing these would be greatly appreciated!

I switched from Warfarin to Eliquis and it’s been a breeze. No more frequent blood tests, and I haven’t had any issues with bleeding so far. Fingers crossed it stays that way!

I've been on Eliquis for a couple of years now. It's been great for managing my AFib, but it did take some getting used to. I remember the first few weeks were a bit rough with some mild headaches and dizziness. Definitely keep an eye out for any unusual bruising or bleeding. If you experience anything severe, don't hesitate to contact your doctor right away. I’d suggest keeping a journal of any symptoms you notice so you can discuss them with your doc.

I've taken Eliquis and had zero problems. The only thing I noticed was a bit of indigestion, but it wasn't anything major. Just be sure to take it with food as recommended, and you should be fine.

Just had my first dose today; took it with food as recommended. Hoping for the best but still a bit anxious.

Did anyone else notice weight gain while on Eliquis? It’s not listed as a side effect, but I’ve gained a few pounds and I can’t figure out why.

I had a scare with some abdominal pain last week, but it turned out to be nothing. I still get nervous. Hang in there and good luck!

Be mindful of certain foods and medications that can interact with Eliquis. I found out the hard way that grapefruit juice can be a problem. Always double-check with your doctor or pharmacist before adding anything new to your routine.

I'm taking it as a precaution since I had a DVT a while back. I've heard stories but I haven’t felt anything bad yet. Makes me feel a bit more at ease knowing I'm not alone out there.
