Just started Epivir 300mg Tablets for HIV treatment - Any side effects to look out for?
I was recently prescribed Epivir 300mg Tablets to manage my HIV. The doctor said it should help keep the virus under control and improve my immune system. I'm taking it with other HIV meds as advised. I've read about some serious side effects like allergic reactions and liver problems. Has anyone else experienced anything bad? Any tips on managing the common side effects like headaches and stomach issues? How has it worked for you guys?

I actually found it helpful to take the tablets with food. Makes the stomach issues a lot less bad.
Seriously, guys, talk to your doctor if you feel any changes. Better safe than sorry.
I can't believe they give out meds like these without any treating side effects that come with it.
My immune system went crazy after starting this. I got all these weird infections popping up out of nowhere.
Be really careful with the allergic reactions. I had a friend who ended up in the ER because he ignored the symptoms thinking it was just a rash.
Make sure you're eating well and staying hydrated. That helped me a lot with the stomach issues.
I feel like I'm in a constant state of dizziness but I'm not sure if it's the meds or just me.
Just remember, it's not a cure, but it helps manage the virus. Stay positive and keep an eye on those side effects.
