I was recently diagnosed with metastatic colon cancer and my oncologist prescribed Fruzaqla 1mg Capsules. I've started taking them and I'm trying to brace myself for the potential side effects. Has anyone out there had experience with this medication? What were your side effects like? How did you manage them? I'm really nervous about the severe side effects listed in the prescription info. Any advice or words of encouragement would be greatly appreciated. I'm trying to be optimistic, but it's been a tough journey so far.

I had to take time off work because of the fatigue, but it was worth it to give my body time to fight the cancer. That’s the only way we can win this fight. Just focus on getting better.

I switched to a different medication after experiencing severe dizziness. It was terrifying. Make sure you have someone with you when you start taking this just in case you feel faint. Stay safe!

I took Fruzaqla for a while, and the fatigue was pretty tough, but manageable. I found that staying hydrated and listening to my body helped a lot. Just take it one day at a time.

I've been taking Fruzaqla for about 6 months now. The key for me was staying in close contact with my medical team. They adjusted my doses and managed side effects really well. Just be open about how you're feeling and trust your doctors.

It's been an uphill battle with Fruzaqla but I feel like it’s helping to slow down the cancer. The appetite loss was rough, but I switched up my diet and started eating smaller, more frequent meals and that helped a lot. Also try to stay positive. Amid all the struggle and fight, a positive outlook will take you a long way.

For me it was really the mouth sores. I used a special mouthwash and it got better but it was still tough. Try to keep your spirits up, even on the tough days.

My sister was on Fruzaqla and she had a really hard time with it. She ended up switching to a clinical trial for a new drug. Maybe talk to your doctor about other options if it gets too tough? There are always other paths to try.
