Just started Glipizide 10mg Tablets for type 2 diabetes. Any tips or experiences to share?
I've recently been prescribed Glipizide 10mg Tablets to help manage my type 2 diabetes. My doctor said to take it 30 minutes before my first meal of the day, but I'm a bit nervous about the side effects. Has anyone else had any issues or tips to make the process smoother?
I'm also wondering if anyone out there has found Glipizide to be effective in controlling blood sugar levels. Did it take long to start noticing a difference?

I switched to metformin after I started having gastric issues. I can't stand the thought of going on Glipizide anymore.
I've had no issues with Glipizide so far. I take it exactly as prescribed. I think it's really important to stick to the schedule and not miss any doses.
I've been on Glipizide for a year now. No side effects, but I've noticed it works best when I take it with a light snack. It seems to help prevent low blood sugar.
