I recently started taking Glipizide XL 5mg Tablets to manage my type 2 diabetes. My doctor prescribed it to help control my blood sugar levels by increasing insulin release from my pancreas. The extended-release formula is supposed to keep the medication working steadily throughout the day. I was excited to find a solution, but now I'm worried about the potential side effects. The list is long and includes severe reactions like allergic responses and changes in eyesight. I'm also concerned about experiencing low blood sugar, which can be dangerous if not managed properly. Has anyone else had issues with this medication? What advice do you have for managing the side effects? I'm also curious about the best way to report any side effects I might experience.

I had a terrible reaction to this medication. I ended up in the ER because I couldn't breathe and my throat was closing up. Turns out it was an allergic reaction. If you experience anything like that, get medical help immediately.

I started feeling really nervous and excitable after a few days, but my doctor said it was a common side effect and it should go away. Be patient and keep an eye on it.

Just started this medication and it sucks. It's causing me a lot of dizziness and headaches. Not sure if it's worth it.

I switched to Glipizide XL from another medication and noticed a significant improvement in my blood sugar control. The slow release really helps keep everything steady throughout the day, but I have to keep an eye on myself for any signs of trouble.

I had a friend who got really sick because of this med and had to be rushed to the hospital. Make sure you discuss all the risks with your doctor before starting this.

Be cautious with your diet too. I was eating a lot of carbs and it spikes my sugar. Keeping a balance has really helped
