Just started HyQVia 30gm/300ml Inj - any side effects I should be worried about?
I've recently started taking Hyqvia 30gm/300ml Inj for primary immunodeficiency. The doctor explained it helps my body fight off infections by providing antibodies. However, the list of possible side effects is quite long and scary. Does anyone have any experience with this? Are the side effects really as bad as they sound? I'm particularly worried about the severe lung problems and brain infection risks. Any tips on managing side effects or what to expect?

I was really worried about the lung problems and brain infection risks too, but my doctor reassured me that those are quite rare. Just keep an eye out for any symptoms and you should be fine. Good luck!
I've personally experienced the side effects of bleeding. So scary it was. Contacted my doctor immediately. Report such serious side effects to FDA. Report them, if any
Make sure you're staying hydrated when you're on this stuff. I found that helped with some of the lesser side effects. And definitely talk to your doctor if you have any concerns.
Ugh, the list of side effects is terrifying. I'm glad I don't have to take this stuff. Hope it works out for you, though!
