Hey everyone, I was recently prescribed Ibandronate 3mg/3ml injections to treat my osteoporosis. I've read about the potential side effects, but I'm curious to hear from others who have used this medication. What was your experience like? Did you encounter any of the more serious side effects, or did it go smoothly? I'm particularly concerned about the risk of jawbone problems and tissue damage. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated! Also, how long does it typically take to see improvements in bone density? Looking forward to hearing your stories and insights!

I've heard that Ibandronate can cause tissue damage if it leaks from the vein. Have any of you experienced this?

Ibandronate can be tough on the kidneys. Keep an eye out for any changes in urine output or blood in your urine. It's worth checking in regularly with your doctor.

I've been on Ibandronate for a while and I have to say, it's been a positive experience. No major side effects, and my bone density scans have shown improvement. I'm all for it!

Be really careful with dental work. I had to get a tooth pulled and ended up with a nasty infection in my jaw. Turns out, Ibandronate can increase the risk of jawbone problems. Now I have to be super diligent about my dental check-ups.

I've been on it for a few years and I have experienced kidney problems. I had blood in urine, and I had to seek medical attention

I've been on Ibandronate for a few years now, and it's been a game-changer for my bone density. No serious side effects here, just the occasional headache.

Ibandronate worked well for me, but I had to switch to a different medication because of the infusion schedule. It was a bit inconvenient to go to the clinic every month.

I had a really bad allergic reaction to Ibandronate. Swelling everywhere, trouble breathing — I had to go to the ER. Turns out it was an allergic reaction to the medication. Definitely talk to your doctor if you experience any of those symptoms.
