I was recently prescribed Indocin 25mg Capsules for gout and I am wanting to know what to expect. I have arthritis and I'm not sure I can handle any more pain. I have heard that this medication can cause some serious side effects. I am feeling a bit anxious about trying it. Has anyone else had experience with this medication, good or bad? Let me know what drew you to this medication, how long you have been on it, and if you have experienced any side effects that make it difficult to stay on the medication. I started the capsules today and I feel okay so far, but how long should it take to feel and see any relief?

I used Indocin for a few weeks when my gout flared up. It worked well, but I had some weird side effects like ringing in the ears. Definitely worth it for the pain relief, though.

I took Indocin for my shoulder pain and it was a miracle. No side effects for me, but everyone's different.

I've been on Indocin for a while now and it's been a game-changer for my arthritis. Just make sure to stay hydrated and don't skip meals. It can be tough on the stomach.

I've heard that Indocin can mess with your kidneys. Make sure to keep an eye on that. Maybe talk to your doc about getting your kidney function checked.

I had to stop taking it because it gave me terrible heartburn. Maybe it's not for everyone.

I had a really bad reaction to it—severe stomach pain and nausea. My doctor switched me to something else. Be careful and listen to your body.

I've had no issues with it so far. Just take it with food and you should be fine. Good luck!

I've heard it can cause high blood pressure. Just something to keep in mind. I'm on it now for gout and I'm okay so far.
