I was recently diagnosed with Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease (ADPKD) and my doctor prescribed Jynarque. I've started taking the 15mg/15mg Tablet Pak and I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects. Has anyone else here taken this medication? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both positive and negative. Any tips on managing side effects or general advice would be greatly appreciated!

Same here, I started with Jynarque a year ago. I experienced some dizziness and fatigue initially, but my body seems to have adjusted now. I make sure to stay hydrated and avoid alcohol. Also, it's important to keep a close eye on your fluid and electrolyte levels. I had very serious side effects when I was on Lupron, so I am very glad it's so much easier.

My body took a little while to adjust, but the side effects have been manageable. Just take it slow and listen to your body. Drink a lot of water and eat plenty of potassium. Get prepared for the trip to the bathroom, though. You'll be going a lot!

I'm glad I found this thread. I was prescribed Jynarque a few weeks ago and I'm scared to start. How bad is the initial period? What should I be doing before starting? Any advice on how to ease into this medication would be greatly appreciated.

The side effects, especially the dry mouth and fatigue, have been a pain, but I think I'm getting used to it. Take it as directed, and drink plenty of water. I've also taken to chewing gum to keep my mouth hydrated — just a little tip to help.

I have had a really tough time with this medication — much worse than anything else I've ever had. I'm going to have to stop taking it. I'm really disappointed. I was really hoping Jynarque would work for me. I'll have to talk to my doctor about alternatives.

Stay strong! We're all in this together. And keep that sense of humor, it will help with the bad times. Don't hesitate to call your doctor about any pain you are having and in addition to a healthy lifestyle, be sure to get lots of rest. It's a fight, but we're going to win!

I started Jynarque a few months back and luckily haven't experienced any serious side effects yet. I'm keeping my fingers crossed! I'm going to be monitoring everything closely.
