I was just prescribed Labetalol 5mg/ml injection to manage my extremely high blood pressure, but I'm a little worried because I've never dealt with anything like this before. Have any of you tried it before? How was your experience with it? I'm particularly concerned about the potential side effects, like heart failure symptoms or liver problems. Any advice on what to look out for and how to handle it? The more I read about it, the more worried I get. I also want to know if there are any specific things I need to monitor during the injection process, and how it might feel.

I had Labetalol and it didn't work for me. It didn't lower my blood pressure. I'm not sure why, maybe my doctor gave me a low dose or something. I'm trying another medicine now and it works so much better

I've been on it for a while now and it's been fine. Just remember to take it easy after you take it and you'll be fine, but if you feel like you're about to pass out or feel any chest pain, call your doctor.

I had a pretty bad reaction to this stuff. It was horrible, I got dizzy, my blood pressure was all over the place and I really felt awful. I had to stop taking it.

Uh, seriously? This is a pretty potent stuff. Hope you are prepared for the way it can make you feel. Don’t worry about the side effects too much, just keep an eye out and call your doctor if you have any concerns

I've always found it weird that this stuff is so potent. It's a bit scary how quickly it works. If you're gonna take it, make sure you're somewhere you can just chill out for a couple of hours.

My wife is on this, and it's been fine as long as she relaxes and doesn't do anything strenuous for a day or two. I think it's important to prepare yourself for the fatigue too, and drink enough water.

I had a bad experience with labetalol. I had a slow pulse. It was 60 beats per minute.
